Social Networking Sites Help to Ease Transition from High School to College

Another interesting article from the New York Times today - it appears that sites like www.myspace.com, www.friendster.com and www.friendbook.com are all helping the transition to college.

Apparently, many students who are applying to have been accepted to new universities are joing online groups to meet people who are already there or who will shortly get there.

Pretty interesting stuff....

I guess that technology is not such a bad thing after all....
